Winnie & Friends

As soon as I saw this free pattern pop up on my Instagram feed, I knew I had to make it! My kids were calling dibs on the different characters before I could even finish downloading the pattern. The best part? Winnie the Pooh is now public domain.

I did do a few modifications to add my own personal touch, mainly just on the embroidering and details (I’ll list them below). I freehanded Tigger, but I used mostly elements from the other patterns to make him.

I, of course, couldn’t let you guys leave without something fun (and free). I created a printable to go along with this amazing pattern. It has a face tag that coordinates with the theme, and also a back tag with care instructions, designer info, safety, and your custom branding. You know us, branding nerds. So make sure you grab your freebie! Please check out and support Dannie Crochet. She’s an incredibly talented artist with other great patterns!

I used Premier Parfait Chunky for this pattern which creates a plushie a little larger in size.

Piglet - I didn’t color change the yarn for the shirt stripes. I did the shirt in a solid color and just embroidered the stripes on afterwards in a contrasting color. I also freehanded Piglet’s ears to be a little larger since the thicker yarn made a larger plushie.

Eeyore - I made his mane hair a little longer. I did this similar to the pattern but just chained a few sts before going into the next stitch. Instead of color changing while making the body for the belly, I just made his body solid and then made a circle afterwards for his belly.

Tigger - I used Pooh’s ears and Eeyore’s snout. I made a half circle for the face by doing several dc into a mr and then I did a circle for the belly. I butted them together and placed the snout on top where they meet.
